I love the mosaic! Although in a modern style, it reminds me of the beautiful, timeless jewelled-mosaics in the Taj Mahal. There is absolutely nothing to compare the work in real gemstones with that of ordinary mosaic tiles!
Nature is a great artist, and so when it combines with a human artist, the effects are manifest in ways we cannot aspire to on our our own.
